I feel like I've been surfing the Twilight Zone today. Here are just a few things I read that made me wonder what the hell is going on:
-- A guy that thought building a treadmill for an elephant would be 'easy' LINK
-- Wolfowitz confirmed as World Bank president (don't get me started) LINK
-- ABC considered hiring David Letterman to host 'Nightline' LINK
-- Terri Schiavo getting more press than The Pope
-- Jane Fonda used to have threesomes (which is interesting how?) LINK
Just decided to pass on the gym tonight...just can't deal
You apparently didn't see the story out of San Diego about the guy who tried to rob a woman walking her dog. He snatched the bag she was carrying as he ran past her. He opened it as he ran, and found it contained dog turds. He ran back and screamed at her that he wanted money. She said she didn't have any on her because she was just walking the dog. Furious, he tried to shoot the dog twice, but the gun jammed both times. Then he leaped into a waiting car and took off.
While the story made me go, "What the hell is this world coming to?", I did get to use the headline "turd burglar," so all balances out.

well, all we're getting here is 24-7 pope this and that. I can't get over all the boohooeyness. all over the news are these catholic peoples crying and saying how shocked they are that he is dead.
HE HAS BEEN SLOWLY DYING FOR MONTHS NOW PEOPLE!! UNLESS YOU'VE BEEN LIVING UNDER A ROCK IT'S REALLY NO BIG SURPRISE.
and do they really think he would be better off alive? seriously. no - seriously! just to see him on the news he looked so frail and shakey and in pain. wanting someone to go on living in pain and suffering just to save yourself from pain and suffering does not sound too christian to me.
(or actually...okay never mind.)
